The hydrometer is equipped with an ultrasonic flow meter, equipped with an impulse output and capable of measuring instantaneous flows and total volumes. The ultrasonic system guarantees high precision even at low flow rates, very low pressure loss, the reduced need for maintenance and a long useful life due to the absence of mechanical parts moving within the flow. The device is powered by a lithium battery with a duration of about 10 years.
