This valve responds to signals from an electronic controller, by changing its opening position according to the set values programmed into the controller.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PRESSURE CONTROL<\/li>\n<li>FLOW CONTROL<\/li>\n<li>LEAKAGE CONTROL<\/li>\n<li>LEVEL CONTROL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>FEATURES AND BENEFITS<\/p>\n<p>Line pressure driven, indipendent operation, fully automatic<br \/>\nSolenoid controlled:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Low power consuption<\/li>\n<li>Wide ranges of pressure and voltages<\/li>\n<li>Normally Open, Normally Closed<\/li>\n<li>Linear position transducer<\/li>\n<li>In line service, easy maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Stainless steel raised seat, cavitation damage resistant (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Flexible design, easy addition of features<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>OPERATION<br \/>\nThe HMC-SS valve is an Electronic Control Valve equipped with two 2-way solenoid pilots.<br \/>\nThe interaction between the two solenoids determines the required opening position as signaled by the dedicated electronic controller.<br \/>\nThe upstream solenoid (1) applies pressure to the upper control chamber (3) harnessing valve differential pressure to push the diaphragm actuator to a more closed position. The downstream solenoid (2) vents upper control chamber (3) pressure resulting in a more open main valve. Needle valves (4) and (5) control the closing and opening speed of the valve. Valve position is provided by an analog transducer.
