The 2-way quick relief pilot (Model SR-P) detects pressure increases and opens the valve to release the pressure peak. Once the pressure returns below the set value, the pilot slowly closes the valve to prevent water hammer.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot keeps the valve chamber closed until the upstream pressure exceeds the set value.
