The UWI-BT Battery operated Insertion Ultrasonic Water Meter is high reliable watermeter that works with the ultrasonic technology. This innovative system permit to measure the instantaneous flow rate and the accumulated value with a robust and reliable technology.

The mod. UWI-BT characterized by the insertion tecnology grants a very economic system that ensures to measures istant and total flow with high
accuracy, reducing the cost of maintenance and operation.

The sensor position permits to measure very low flow, granting excellent accuracy at very low flow rates and very low pressurre loss values.

The mod. UWI-BT watermeter works very well with a big range of pipes size; inside it there aren’t mechanical elements granting a very long lifespan.

This equipment is powered by a stand alone battery that can works for about 10 years (or 6 years in case of RS 485 output).

Installation Reccomendations

  • Do not assemble near pumps, valves, throttles ans flow disturbing factors. (minimum distance 30 D from these equipments).

  • Pipe must be always totally filled with water.

  • Vertical or diagonal installation must be with ascending flow.

  • Minimum straignt distance 5DN upstream and 3DN downstream.
