Pressure Sustaining Valve IM-SP3PP
General Description:
The IM-SP3PP pressure sustaining valve is designed to automatically maintain upstream pressure at a predefined minimum value. If the upstream pressure drops below this value, the valve closes to ensure the desired pressure is maintained. It is ideal for applications that require pressure flow control and balance.

Operating Principle:
The valve is controlled by a 3-way hydraulic pilot (Model SP3PP), which adjusts the membrane opening based on upstream pressure. The pilot fills or discharges the valve’s control chamber to maintain the minimum upstream pressure, balancing variations in flow and pressure.
When the upstream pressure is equal to or lower than the set pressure, the valve closes fully. If the upstream pressure exceeds the set value, the valve fully opens. The valve can also be manually operated via a 3-way control (Model CM4V), allowing full valve opening or closing independent of the pilot.
