Modulating Float Control Valve IM-GAL
The IM-GAL modulating float valve is an automatic control valve designed to maintain the maximum water level inside a tank. This valve operates via a modulating float pilot, which adjusts the valve’s opening or closing based on the water level in the tank.
Technical Specifications:
- Pilot Model: GAL
- Type: 2-way, modulating
- Installation: Horizontal
- Materials:
- Body: Brass
- Arm: Stainless steel
- Float: Polypropylene (PP)
- Connections:
- Ø1/2” F BSP (Standard version)
- Ø3/4” F BSP (Optional version)
- Nominal Pressure: 16 bar
Operating Principle:
The IM-GAL valve is controlled by a modulating float pilot installed inside the tank, while the valve is positioned outside, along the filling pipe. When the water level drops, the pilot empties the valve chamber, causing it to gradually open and fill the tank. When the maximum level is reached, the float returns to the horizontal position, slowly closing the valve to prevent pressure surges.
