Pressure Reducing Valve IN/IP-RP3PP

The IM-RP3PP pressure reducing valve is an automatic regulating valve designed to reduce the inlet pressure to a lower, constant outlet value. This valve is ideal for applications requiring precise downstream pressure control, balancing upstream pressure variations or flow fluctuations.

Technical Specifications:

  • Pilot Model: RP3PP
  • Pressure Adjustment Range:
    • Grey Spring: 0.2 ÷ 1.5 bar
    • White Spring: 0.6 ÷ 3.0 bar
    • Red Spring (Standard): 1.0 ÷ 5.5 bar
    • Black Spring: 2.0 ÷ 9.0 bar
  • Materials:
    • Pilot body lower part: Reinforced nylon
    • Cover: Reinforced nylon
    • Manual control CM4V: Brass body, stainless steel ball, Teflon seat
  • Connections:
    • Manual control body: Ø1/4” M BSP
    • Open/Close/Auto: Ø1/8” F BSP
  • Pressure Class: PN10

Operating Principle:

The valve is controlled by a 3-way hydraulic pilot (Model RP3PP), which adjusts the membrane opening based on the desired downstream pressure. The pilot fills or discharges the valve’s control chamber to maintain constant downstream pressure, compensating for upstream pressure variations and flow fluctuations.
The 3-way hydraulic circuit fully opens the valve when the upstream pressure is equal to or lower than the regulated pressure, minimizing head loss. The 3-way manual control (Model CM4V) allows the valve to be fully opened or closed independently of the pilot.
