Modulating Float Control Valve IN/IP-GAL

The IN/IP-GAL modulating float valve is an automatic hydraulic control valve designed to maintain the maximum water level inside a tank. The operation is based on a float control pilot that regulates the opening and closing of the valve according to the water level.

Technical Specifications:

  • Control Pilot Model:
    • GAL 1/2”: 2-way – modulating
    • GAL 3/4”: 2-way – modulating
  • Materials:
    • Body: Brass
    • Float arm: Stainless steel
    • Float: Polypropylene (PP)
  • Connections:
    • GAL 1/2”: Ø1/2” F BSP
    • GAL 3/4”: Ø3/4” F BSP
  • Nominal Pressure: 16 bar
  • Installation: Horizontal

Operating Principle:

The IN/IP-GAL valve is controlled by a 2-way modulating float control pilot, which is installed inside the tank at the desired maximum level. When the water level drops, the float descends, triggering the opening of the valve to fill the tank. Once the water reaches the maximum level, the float returns to the horizontal position, slowly closing the valve to prevent pressure surges in the pipeline. The closing speed is regulated by a pre-set needle valve.
