IMA-RP2M Pressure Reducing Valve
The IMA-RP2M Model pressure reducing valve is designed to automatically reduce the inlet pressure to a lower, constant outlet pressure. This valve is ideal for applications requiring precise downstream pressure control in response to upstream flow or pressure variations.

Operating Principle:
The valve is controlled by a 2-way hydraulic pilot (Model RP2M), which regulates the opening of the diaphragm based on the desired downstream pressure. The pilot manages the filling or draining of the valve’s control chamber to maintain a constant downstream pressure, even when upstream flow or pressure conditions vary.
When the inlet pressure is lower than or equal to the set pressure, the valve fully opens to minimize head losses. The valve can also be operated manually via ball valves installed in the circuit.
