Operating Principle:

The valve is controlled by a 3-way hydraulic differential pilot (Model QP3B), which adjusts the membrane opening based on the instantaneous flow rate. The pilot fills or discharges the valve chamber depending on the differential pressure generated by the water passing through a calibrated orifice. The orifice diameter determines the maximum flow rate to be limited, while the pilot allows fine-tuning. When the flow demand exceeds the set limit, the pilot partially closes the valve to restore the predefined flow rate. If the flow demand falls below the limit, the valve fully opens.
