Hydroval2 IDU2 Double Flanged Hydrometer

The IDU2 model hydrometer was designed with the aim of minimizing pressure loss through the use of a valve with innovative features (with second generation elliptical membrane).

This model is protected by a European Patent. The hydrometer is equipped with an ultrasonic flow meter, equipped with an impulse output and capable of measuring instantaneous flows and total volumes. The ultrasonic system guarantees high precision even at low flow rates, very low pressure loss, the reduced need for maintenance and a long useful life due to the absence of mechanical parts moving within the flow. The device is powered by a lithium battery with a duration of about 10 years. The components (membrane, ultrasonic meter, motorized ball valve on the hydraulic circuit) that characterize this product guarantee a longer operating life than a classic hydrometer and allow to optimize the water distribution process.
