Programmable Solenoid Control Valve IM-PROG
The IM-PROG hydraulic valve is an automatic on-off electrohydraulic valve, designed to manage the opening and closing in a programmed manner via a battery-powered electronic controller. Ideal for automated irrigation systems, it allows flow management based on a preset weekly schedule.
Technical Specifications:
- Valve Type: Electrohydraulic, bistable, 3-way
- Solenoid Body Material: Nylon
- Connections: Ø1/8” F BSP
- Nominal Pressure: 10 bar
- Operating Voltage: 9-12V DC
- Power Supply: 9V DC alkaline batteries (recommended life: 12 months)
- Operating Temperature of Controller: from -10°C to 60°C
- Solenoid Protection Rating: IP66
- Controller Protection Rating: IP67
Operating Principle:
The valve is operated by a 3-way bistable solenoid (Model EL-BI), which, when activated by the controller (Model PROG), releases the water from the control chamber, allowing the valve to fully open. At the end of the irrigation cycle, the valve automatically closes.
The controller allows the setup of various operation modes, such as daily opening, opening on selected days, or multiple openings on specific days.
Installation Recommendations:
- Activate the irrigation controller and follow the instructions to configure the desired settings.
- Perform some opening and closing maneuvers to evacuate air from the control chamber.
- Safety: Do not disassemble the valve or the circuit when the system is under pressure. Do not operate under pressures above the nominal values.
Maintenance:
Replace the battery every 12 months to ensure proper operation of the controller and solenoid.
